In working with principals across the country on communication and trust with staff, I will inevitably hear a story or two about miscommunication via email. My advice is always: Be sure to check addresses, wording, etc. before sending an email or text. After passing our prelims for our doctorate, we were all excited to text each other and our families with the good news. "I am officially a doctoral candidate", I texted my husband, who was in a business meeting he could not leave. Voice to text altered my text, however, to "I am officially a doctoral can of debt". My husband promptly replied, "Well, that is the truth. We have spent a good bit on your higher education. But don't worry---it is worth it." Hilarious.

Email miscommunication....Thank you for such a fantastic blog. Where else could anyone get that kind of info written in such a perfect way? I have a presentation that I am presently working on, and I have been on the look out for such information.
